The order was awarded to the heroes of the socialist republic of Romania, but could also be awarded to other honored persons for special merits in building socialism or for special merits in protecting the fatherland. The order has one degree. A silver star with five rays and ears covered in gold with silver flat, smooth and wide angular rays at the edges. The middle is golden. The middle consists of a red enamel-covered wreath with teeth, the inner edge of which consists of laurel branches, and at the bottom it is covered by two flags. On the left is a red flag with a sickle and a hammer in a wreath, on the right is a Romanian blue-yellow-red flag. On the medallion, made with rays, a map of Romania is painted with enamel, on it a torch painted with enamel with the letter V, which means victory. The reverse side is smooth, curved and has a cross clasp with a protective mechanism in the upper part. The Order of the Victory of Socialism was made from various metals. This copy is made of platinum for high officials, possibly for Nicolae Ceausescu, who was awarded this order three times. There are samples of gold, silver, as well as silver-plated bronze and tompak metal. All copies of this award, as well as the honorary title of Hero of the Socialist Republic of Romania, are extremely rare.
